BSNL Launched VVOIP Services in INDIA to enable Audio and Video Conferencing

BSNL has kicked off a “Beta” launch of Audio and Video conferencing and call service (VVOIP) in India. However, The first phase is only available for Ahmadabad residents. BSNL expects to extend the reach across India by March 2012.

To be frank, Its very unlikely that they will be launching this across India before end of 2012 considering their overall track records and delays in implementing services.

The customers will be charged 40 paise per minute for audio and Rs. 2 per minute for video calls within the country over VVoIP. The international call charges are also pretty low as a call to the US will cost Rs. 1.20 per minute, to the UK it will cost Rs. 1.20 on landline, Rs. 7.20 to mobile, and Rs. 1.20 per minute to China. BSNL will offer the VVoIP services at a monthly rental of Rs. 150 only.

Firesheep – A Firefox extension that demonstrates HTTP session hijacking attacks.
WinPcap – WinPcap is an open source library for packet capture and network analysis for the Win32 platforms. It includes a kernel-level packet filter, a low-level dynamic link library (packet.dll), and a high-level and system-independent library.

Step 1: Install WinPcap then drag the Firesheep add-on, and put it on the Firefox icon. Firefox will open and will ask you to install the add on. Install it and restart Firefox.

Step 2: Open the add-on (You can do it by clicking on View ->Sidebar -> Firesheep), then click on Start Capturing and it’ll start capturing, and as soon as somebody logs in any account it’ll show up the logs, and then you can access their account.
