Microsoft will officially announce windows - 8 At Computex 2011.....

Microsoft is going to held a press conference later today at Computex 2011, the computer show currently going on in Taipei and the company’s official have announced that they will talk about the next generation of Windows at the event.

We don’t know who is going to present the next-gen Windows which, most likely, will be called Windows 8, but we have a hunch that both Steve Ballmer and Steve Guggenheimer will be there. Computex is the largest show of its kind where companies like to introduce new laptops, notebooks, netbooks, hardware, and software so it’s natural to think that Microsoft’s chiefs won’t miss this opportunity.

The Microsoft Computex 2011 keynote will occur at 10AM CST Taipei time which translates into 10PM EDT New York time or 5PM BST London time.

I remind you that a few days ago Microsoft has dismissed Steve Ballmer’s words that the Windows 8 release date is 2012 and the company said that the CEO has been misquoted, though if the operating system is announced so soon we can only think that it will indeed launch next year.

It’s about time Microsoft introduced a new version of Windows as 7 was launched on October 22nd, 2009, while Vista was released in January 2007. Windows 8 still has a long way to go, but several alpha versions of the OS have been leaked online and we’ve all seen that Microsoft needs to do a lot of work before releasing it.

At the moment there are no other details about the Microsoft Computer keynote therefore you should stick with use cause more information is coming soon and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
